Our Staff
DFI has three full-time staff that are responsible for day-to-day management of the organization and implementation of programs as directed by the Board of Directors. Numerous part-time and seasonal staff are also hired to assist in peak periods/seasons of activity.

General Manager, Bruce McCormack
Bruce McCormack has been General Manager of Downtown Fredericton Inc. since 1989. In addition to the overall administration of activities and programs, Bruce is keenly involved in economic development issues, municipal and provincial liaison, streetscape and physical improvements and business recruitment.

Office Manager, Vicki Stickles
Vicki Stickles has been with the organization since May 1999. Vicki is responsible for in-house accounting services and records management. She also takes on the dual role of administrative assistant/receptionist and oversees the day-to-day administration of the Downtown Parking Token Program.

Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Shasta Stairs
Shasta is responsible for leading the marketing and public relations initiatives in an effort to increase business to all downtown members. Some of Shasta’s tasks include developing and maintaining strong relationships with all downtown members, working closely with other community business organizations and the tourism sector to develop and support activities within the downtown, working with all advertising media on co-op programs which will enhance business opportunities, developing new innovative marketing and publicity strategies and coordinating all promotional literature and media releases.
