For Boating Visitors

Downtown Fredericton offers facilities for boaters. The Regent Street Wharf is your strategic point of access to a world of convenient amenities within easy walking distance and to all that our vibrant downtown community has to offer.

The Regent Street Wharf is open for our boating visitors from mid May until mid October. A Port Warden is on duty from 10 am to 10 pm daily during July and August, and on weekends during May, June, and September.

The facility offers 250 feet of visitor dock space, water, power, phone, refuse container, and ice. Visitor dock fees for one night are $1.00/foot. For more information during the season contact the Port Warden on VHF Channel 68 or phone 506-455-1445. Off-season please contact 461-6703.

Additional Facilities

If sailing is your passion, the Regent Street Wharf provides visitor moorings on the down river side of the pedestrian train bridge, and visitors are welcome to use moorings at no charge.

Boat launching facilities are available on the north-side of the St. John River across from the Regent Street Wharf at The Carleton Park Boat Launch on Union Street and on the south-side at Morell Park on Waterloo Row. Vehicle parking is free at both boat launch locations.
