Funding

The operating budget of DFI is funded solely by a municipal Business Improvement Levy that is paid by all non-residential properties within the 16 block boundaries of the BIA. The Levy is based on a percentage of the property's assessed value and appears on the property tax bill. The rate for the DFI BIA is $0.20 per $100.00 of assessed value.
