July 14, 2008

The City of Fredericton Engineering and Public Works Department wishes to advise motorists that beginning Tuesday morning, July 15th, Queen Street between St. John Street and Camperdown Lane will be closed to all traffic. This closure is necessary to upgrade the City's infrastructure. Access to the Crowne Plaza Hotel will be provided.

Motorists can expect additional street closures and detours as the project progresses along St. John Street and Queen Street. The City will notify motorists in advance of any further road closures.

Construction and detour signs will be in place to warn motorists of the closure and to guide motorists through the detour route.

This closure is expected to be in place for eight days.

The Department wishes to thank motorists for their patience and cooperation in this matter. For more information on road closure announcements, visit www.fredericton.ca or telephone 506-460-2038.
