With 200 indoor and outdoor local suppliers from along the Saint John River Heritage Corridor and across the Province, The Market (as it’s known here) is the place to discover seasonal products like fiddleheads and blueberries, ultra-fresh produce, including organics, meats & seafood, cakes & confections, breads, cheeses & homemade jams, fresh-squeezed juices & New Brunswick wines, artisan chocolates, specialty coffees & beans. Ethnic delicacies, from Chinese buns to Lebanese stuffed grape leaves and the City’s famous samosas, are also a big part of The Market tradition.  A vibrant space with one-of-a-kind gifts, colourful and quirky, finds include pottery, jewelry, paintings, textiles and lawn sculptures. Breakfast is served up on site, either inside from the restaurant or outside in our Food Alley where it’s falafel sandwiches and buffalo burgers galore.  The Food Alley can be found by entering at the Brunswick Street entrance point.

Walking into Jonnie Java Roasters, your senses are over stimulated with the intense aroma of freshly roasted coffee. On site roaster of Arabica Beans sourced from 29 countries in the coffee world!

Daily roasts of beans grown in the rainforests of Brazil, harvested in the mountains of Africa, dried in the sun from the mystical land of India, picked on small coffee plantations in the archipelago of Indonesia and coffee beans from countries in between.

The experience at Jonnie Java’s allows you to choose a coffee bean from the land of coffee, have it freshly ground and prepared by our barista in a flat white, cappuccino, latte, macchiato, Americano or mocha java latte. Paired with yummy local sweets & chocolates!

Beans may be purchased in 1/2 or 1 lb bags with roast dates on the bag.

Welcome to Mill Town Roasters (MTR)! We’re your local roaster located here in Freddy Beach, NB, specializing in small batch coffee roasting. We began this roasting journey in January 2019 with a vision of producing quality coffee in every cup. That’s why our coffee is carefully hand-picked, sorted, milled, graded, dried, shipped and then roasted by us. We take great care to ensure we source and select exquisite coffees that are stunning examples of their place of origin with an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of flavour. Once our coffee is roasted, we focus on tasting every single batch, no matter how small, to ensure quality in every cup. Our philosophy here at MTR is simple: may the best taste win.

When you stop by our downtown location, be sure to snag one of our freshly prepared cinnamon buns (we’re told they’re some of the best on the East Coast of Canada), or one of our house prepared sandwiches (Smoked Meat on Rye, Brisket Sourdough or a classic grilled cheese).  We’ve got a vast selection of baked goods, all of which pair great with our specialty coffee, oh and did we mention, FREE WIFI?

Roticana Coffee brings years of experience and knowledge of the coffee industry to HSBC Place in downtown Fredericton. They offer brewed and packaged roasted coffee beans, sourced from around the world. From the house blend to a bold Americano to a fragrant cardamom-infused Turkish coffee, there’s something for every coffee lover here. To satisfy your sweet tooth, there are house-made signature juices. To accompany your drinks, choose from treats such as croissants, baklava and muffins, as well as sandwiches.
