The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame is a sports museum located in the heart of downtown Fredericton. A visit to the Hall will allow visitors to experience New Brunswick’s rich sport history through guided tours, exhibits and artifacts. When you visit you will find many family-friendly activities that are fun for all ages. You can play your favourite game in our Sports Simulator, experience the amazing stories of our inducted members in our Virtual Locker Room and see the science behind it all in the Biomechanics and Sports Discovery Centre!

School Days Museum

The School Days Museum is alive and well and continues to grow and improve. Even though it is located in Fredericton, the School Day’s Museum is actually a provincial museum under the sponsorship of the New Brunswick Retired Teachers Association.

In the 25 years the Museum has existed it has amassed over 14,000 educational artifacts from schools of earlier years in New Brunswick: textbooks, resource materials, teaching aids, photos, students’ work, educational records and school furniture and fixtures.

Science East Science Centre

One of the most unique tourist attractions in Canada! New Brunswick’s science centre offers family fun and learning with a mix of hands-on and interactive exhibits exploring how the world works! During your visit, try our discovery stations offering daily live science demos by our staff, experiments or activities to experience together. Visitors can enjoy beautiful summer days in our huge outdoor science playground, the only one of its kind in Atlantic Canada! Looking for the perfect memento to remember your visit? Science East is located in a 179-year old former colonial-era jail. The jail was decommissioned in 1996. Explore this incredible history and discover the story of New Brunswick’s groundbreaking role in crime scene investigation (CSI) in Canada in our basement-level museum.

Science East offers science clubs, programs, worksho9ps and science demos for visiting schools, groups and tours. Overnight Science Sleepovers, birthday parties and camps during March Break and throughout summer are also available. The creative atmosphere of the science centre provides inspiring and well-equipped rental spaces with a full menu of technical equipment for meetings, team-building and special occasions. The Cap

The Cap, home for live music in Fredericton, includes an on-site nano-brewery, daytime record retail and beer to go, all accompanied by plenty of seating on sunny or shaded patios.

The Dandy – A Paint Lounge

The Dandy is Fredericton’s first and only paint lounge. Drop in and purchase a canvas; everything else you need for your painting is included in the price! Beer, wine, coffee and soft drinks are also available so you can relax while doing your painting. Don’t feel like painting on a canvas? We also offer some alternatives to paint, such as records, ukuleles and skateboard decks. Or just come in and have a drink with friends. All experience levels and ages are welcome.
