School Days Museum

The School Days Museum is alive and well and continues to grow and improve. Even though it is located in Fredericton, the School Day’s Museum is actually a provincial museum under the sponsorship of the New Brunswick Retired Teachers Association.

In the 25 years the Museum has existed it has amassed over 14,000 educational artifacts from schools of earlier years in New Brunswick: textbooks, resource materials, teaching aids, photos, students’ work, educational records and school furniture and fixtures.

Science East is located in a 179-year old former colonial-era jail. The jail was decommissioned in 1996. Explore this incredible history and discover the story of New Brunswick’s groundbreaking role in crime scene investigation (CSI) in Canada in our basement-level museum.

Science East offers science clubs, programs, worksho9ps and science demos for visiting schools, groups and tours. Overnight Science Sleepovers, birthday parties and camps during March Break and throughout summer are also available. The creative atmosphere of the science centre provides inspiring and well-equipped rental spaces with a full menu of technical equipment for meetings, team-building and special occasions. Second Nature Outdoors

Fredericton and Oromocto’s home for outdoor adventure. We offer watercraft and bikes rentals, guided tours, private bookings, sailing lessons and weekly programming.

Second Nature Outdoors is located in the Small Craft Aquatic Center along the Fredericton Riverfront Trail and 992 Onondaga St, in the heart of Oromocto. We offer guided and self-guided experiences, as well as training and rentals for canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking and sailing.

Southside Shake is Downtown Fredericton’s first and only Gin Bar.

Southside Shake was created and named after a Southside Cocktail which is one of the original gin cocktails; Shake, because we have awesome bartenders/mixologists who know how to shake up the best cocktails, adding some flare! We now carry 50 Gins – not only is Southside Shake the first Gin Bar in Fredericton but in NB and the Maritimes!

Located inside the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Fredericton, the cocktail list includes the “Classics” with their own spin, and a very gin heavy theme that each of their bartenders have contributed to. They offer a variety of menu pickings that are great to share with friends. This evolving dining experience is meant to get you out with friends, share plates and converse!

Their main business is sharpening skates, but other services include, blade replacement, contouring, all types of skate repairs, racquet stringing, golf club re-gripping and shafting, sporting goods repair, and hockey stick repair. Sportcare is also an authorized warranty dealer for Bauer, Reebok/CCM and Easton skates.

The Cap

The Cap, home for live music in Fredericton, includes an on-site nano-brewery, daytime record retail and beer to go, all accompanied by plenty of seating on sunny or shaded patios.

The Dandy is Fredericton’s first and only paint lounge. Drop in and purchase a canvas; everything else you need for your painting is included in the price! Beer, wine, coffee and soft drinks are also available so you can relax while doing your painting. Don’t feel like painting on a canvas?
