Family Day at Beaverbrook Art Gallery

Join The Beaverbrook Art Gallery for Family Day activities!
– Family day activities are 12 pm to 3 pm
– The gallery will be open from 12 pm to 5 pm
– Admission by donation
The gallery will be filled with activities for all ages:
Painting with Angel Terry: join the artist for painting and mark-making using alternative tools such as wedges, squeegees, pieces of cardboard, felt, rags, rollers and other tools that don’t resemble a brush!
Printmaking with Graeme Kennedy: Make a print or two inspired by the Strange Birds in Graeme Patterson’s exhibition.
Pytrykivka painting with the Ukrainian Association of Fredericton. Join artists from the Fredericton Ukrainian Community.
Plasticine Bird Sculptures with Peggy Holt: join Peggy and create a plasticine bird or a family of birds inspired by the current exhibitions.
Patterns and prints with Christina Thomson get inspired by Kenojuak Ashevak’s drawings and use coloured pencils and stamps to create rhythmic birds.
Art Buttons with Natasha LeBlond – make a bold statement with a new art button!
Performance by String Ensemble “My Magic Violin” – Join these talented musicians at 1 pm
