Guided Heritage Walking Tours 2021

Take a lively walking tour of Fredericton, with a historically-costumed guide leading the way! You will be entertained with local history and folklore on a free walking tour of downtown Fredericton’s historic sites. See the Historic Garrison District, the Old Public Burial Ground, the Provincial Legislative Building, and former homes of some famous Frederictonians.
10am: “The River Route”
Historically-costumed guides entertain you with local history and folklore that relates the role of the Wolastoq (Saint John River) on a free, 1-hour walking tour of Fredericton’s riverside historic sites.
Starts at City Hall, down to Carleton Street, across the pedway to The Green, following the river to the Beaverbrook Art Gallery Statue Garden, then ending at Christ Church Cathedral.
2:30 pm, Daily “The City Circuit”
Historically-costumed guides entertain you with local history and folklore that accentuates the cultural capital significance of Fredericton on a free, 1-hour walking tour of Fredericton’s downtown historic sites.
Starts at City Hall, down to Carleton Street, then up to the Loyalist Burial Ground, through to George Street, down to St. John St., then ending at the Legislative Assembly Building.
