The Dandy Paint Lounge: Kids Paint & Sip – Wednesday March 8th and Friday March 10th at 2:00PM. A fun afternoon of painting with expert instruction. $25.00 price includes: One 11″ x 14″ canvas, all associated materials, instruction, one soft drink, juice or water. Beaverbrook Art Gallery:
March 4th: From 1:30PM – 2:30PM, the iTromboni group will be performing at the gallery. The quintet will play free of charge, but the quality of their performance is priceless! Ticket information here
March 6th-10th: Programs for kids ages 5-11 who like adventures in art! The Beaverbrook Art Gallery is excited to announce the return of the Artistica March Break Camp! Send your children to enjoy five days of exciting and engaging art activities inspired by our collection and exhibitions. They will explore and create with artist and art educator, Emilie Grace Lavoie for a fun-filled week of hands-on activities including collage, sculpture, and painting. *Spaces are limited and filling up fast! Bring along your favorite stuffed animal for a check-up and visit with the veterinarians, too No need to register for this family-friendly event!
Encanto Party – Wednesday, March 8 at 6:30pm: Can’t get enough “Encanto?” The Fredericton Public Library will be hosting a fiesta full of Latin music, dance and art! See a performance by the band Los Amigos who will keep you on your feet while taking you on a tour of the traditional music of Cuba, Columbia and Latin America. Children can even get their picture taken with Mirabel Madrigal! Casita is waiting! No need to register for this free program for both the young and young-at-heart!
