It’s time for the annual battle of the burgers… who will win the title of Fredericton’s best burger for 2024?

With over 25 restaurants competing around the City, Downtown Fredericton boasts 9 top contenders for the 2024 Battle:

• Gahan House Riverside – In Da Pub Burger: 6oz Grilled beef patty with Gahan cheese dip, dill pickle on a brioche bun with an onion ring, mozzarella stick, chicken wing and fired pickle garnish
• King West Brewing & RustiCo. – You’re Bacon Me Blue: Brioche bun, 4oz beef patty, carmilized onions, mixed greens, bacon strips,provolone cheese, bluecheese and roasted garlic mayo
• Rocket Burger – TBA
• The Snooty Fox – BBQ Bison Birria Burger: A 4oz birria seasoning infused all bison patty with BBQ, smoked cheddar, chopped cilantro, and chopped Spanish onion. Served on a pretzel bun with birria broth for dipping
• Pickle Jar – Pj Smash: 2 3oz beef patties smashed into onions, deep-fried pickle chips, processed cheese, pj burger sauce, and shredded lettuce, on a house-made bun
• The Joyce Pub – Brandon’s Burger: Sesame Bun, Maple BBQ Sauce, Smoked Cheddar, Onion Ring, Lettuce, Tomato, 2 Beef Patties
• 540 Kitchen & Bar – The Gourmet Harvest Burger: Dry aged local beef, herbed goat cheese, onion jam, zesty horseradish mayo, and mixed greens.
• Isaac’s Way – “The Judge”: 1/4 Grilled Atlantic Beef patty with molasses, BBQ sauce, pulled pork, smoked cheddar, creamy jalapeno coleslaw, lettuce garnished with jalapeno popper
• The Lunar Rogue Pub – It’s a “New Era”: 6oz. all beef patty, brie cheese, housemade red pepper relish, whisky caramelized onions, spring mix, and tomato – all on a brioche bun, topped with a pickle
